Assistive Technology (AT) Virtual Library
The Assistive Technology (AT) Library, operated by the Maryland Assistive Technology Program (MDTAP) under the Maryland Department of Disabilities, gives Marylanders free hands-on access to devices designed to increase independence.
What the AT Library Offers
- Hands-On Demonstrations: Schedule free appointments with assistive technology specialists to test equipment and evaluate options before committing to a purchase.
- Free Short-Term Device Loans: Borrow devices for 1 to 4 weeks to evaluate how they work in real-world settings like home, school, or work.
- Who Can Access: Available to Maryland residents with disabilities, family members, caregivers, educators, employers, and healthcare professionals.
